Enchantable: Yes/No |

Lion Clan Shield is a Standard Shield in Dark Souls 2. Standard Shields can be used not only to block an enemy but to parry their attack as well. This allows a riposte, a free attack by the player for a high amount of damage. Enemy attacks can be interrupted with a parry (pressing the Strong Attack button for the shield) and requires practice to learn the timing.
Acquired From:
- Random drop from Lion Warriors in Shaded Woods
Hints and Tips:
- Provides both Curse and Petrification resistance.
- Despite being inferior to Golden Wing Shield and Stone Shield, the high Physical damage reduction and low strength requirement is a good consideration.

The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].

This is also the Wargod Wooden Shield from Dark Souls III, the lore implication are very interesting. It all ties Faraam, the Lion Clan, Nameless King and the Mound-Makers together.

The shape of this shield is very similar to the Grafted Scion shield in Elden Ring, just made of wood instead of gold, and a medium shield instead of a great shield...
