Dialogue
- Approaching Eleum Loyce for the first time
You, approaching Eleum Loyce,
Turn back.
The old Chaos hungers still.
- Approaching Aava, the King's Pet fog gate
Go back.
Aava is watching.
Go back.
- Approaching Eye of the Priestess
Turn away.
And never look back.
No one must ever find
that which is sheltered in Eleum Loyce.
- First Conversation in the Cathedral
To think Aava could be bested…
Who are you?
This land is barren,
Cursed, by the old Chaos.
It gave birth to atrocities,
and the people fled in fear.
Until our lord, the Ivory King, came.
- Second time talked to.
My dear lord, a most true king.
It was with his magnificent soul
that he built Eleum Loyce…
…and contained the spread of Chaos.
But the Chaos would not be sated,
and the King gave his own soul.
- Third time talked to.
Inevitably, the King was drained of vigor,
and plunged into the Chaos' heart.
Eleum Loyce was frozen in time, it's leader lost…
I remain here, to contain the Chaos,
honouring my Lord's wishes.
Perhaps one day, he will return…
There's nothing here,
save that accursed flame…
- Fourth time talked to.
I have but one wish.
That my Lord might be freed
from that unspeakable Chaos.
I haven't the strength to help him myself,
but perhaps one such as you…
Though I am yet to know your name,
stranger, will you lend me your strength?
- Answering No
Then be gone.
There's nothing here, nothing at all.
- Speaking to her again if answered No previously
Stranger.
Are you now prepared to plunge into Chaos?
- Answering Yes
Kind visitor, I thank you.
Let me open the path to Chaos.
And please, do all you can…
- After answering Yes
Many of Eleum Loyce's faithful knights
followed their Lord into the Chaos.
But none of them returned.
The King's dutiful subjects waited
patiently for His homecoming.
But it was too long a wait to bear…
The knights of Eleum Loyce await a new leader.
One who will guide them into Chaos.
- After having freed all Loyce Knights
The knights, reborn will follow your word.
- After having defeated the Burnt Ivory King
You've granted my one wish...
Now, I have no regrets.
I was born amidst the Dark.
Long ago, in the depths of the Abyss, my Father perished.
The Dark shattered into tiny pieces, one of which was me.
How frightened I was. A frail thing, born from but a splinter of Dark.
I felt that I might simply disappear.
I am, in fact, the incarnation of my Father's fears.
I sought an anchor, and I saw that the King of this land was strong.
I sought him only to sustain myself, to smother my fears...
Now, I realise that he may have known all along.
I was born of fear, and my Lord provided comfort.
And so here I remain, heiress to my Lord's wishes, watching over Chaos...
...until the end of time.
- Before offering Loyce Souls
The knights of Eleum Loyce were swallowed by the Chaos...
...where their souls still remain.
I pray for their deliverance... - Upon offering 15 Loyce Souls
I sense a knight's joyous elation.
Kind visitor, please accept my gratitude.
The beings born from shards of Dark...
I am not the only one.
Even Dark seeks solace, and more so, souls. Magnificent souls...
...like your own.
One day, you may encounter another.
Another being, born of Dark. - Upon offering up to 49 Loyce Souls
I sense a knight's joyous elation.
Kind visitor, please accept my gratitude. - Upon offering 50 Loyce Souls
I sense a knight's joyous elation.
Close by, yes, very close...
- Upon speaking to her after offering 50 Loyce Souls
Kind visitor.
I am not the only being born of dark.
You will face hardship like no other.
Take this.
My sisters are as a thick Dark, their lust for souls insatiable...
May you find the will to resist their desires...
- All dialogue exhausted
Go on, kind visitor.
May you reach your journey's end, one day.
- When Killed
Oh, my dear lord…

Didn't want to, but bowed her down. Sorry, but 50 (?) Loyce souls is a bit much.

Felt really good to smack her with a smelter hammer R2 after farming 50 souls

what if I get her 50 souls and then kill her? will I get two of her soul?

From be like: No worries, they're all simps and will grind for the souls.

Come to think, the Daughters of Dark each seem to reference the Knights of Gwyn.
–Alsanna is much like Ciaran, mourning her corrupted love.
– Nadalia is guarded by Raime, a left-handed knight corrupted by dark like Artorias.
– Elana deceived Yorgh into burying his spear into Sinh's body, a signature move of Ornstein's Dragonslayer Spear.
– Nashandra's plot regarding Vendrick's doomed war with the stone giants calls Gough to mind.

I actually really like alsanna since she doesnt seem to be driven by the darkness the way nashandra and nelana were. She actually struggles with her destiny and the way the ivory king trusted in her was really romantic.
Something is bugged. I got 13 Loyce Souls, they are not in my item box, Alsana is alive and unnatacked, yet she doesn't give any reward.

I think I bugged her out. I did the fight before getting all 4 knights, only the one that is there when you decide to go down is there, and I beat the Burnt Ivory King. She then told me to free the knights, I did, but she keeps telling me to free the knights, I think I broke her. I do have a bow, but I'm unsure if killing her without access to her (Either side of the stairway is blocked off with ice) will grant me her soul. Any advice?

Being pacifist in dark souls 2 kinda hard. But the reward after collecting 50 loyce souls is indeed a worth of fashion souls

So I think I managed to soft-lock her, as far as the Loyce Knight Souls go. I gathered the four knights, and then went to fight the Ivory King. I never talked to her in-between. Now, whenever I speak to her, she mentions the knights that fell into the chaos. Have I missed something, or have I messed up?

I have a big time deciding... I really want Eleum Loyce, but I get like 0.25 Loyce Soul per fight, and I do have Prisoner taters and Symbol of Avarice equipped, + Covetous Gold Ring +2... and I use rusted coins... so... what will happen in NG+ if I kill her?
i can fix her
