Huntsman's Copse
This area becomes accessible after unlocking a secret path in between Majula and Heide's Tower of Flame. The region features two bosses and optional directions to follow after defeating them, and several NPCs and bonfires as well as unique enemies.

Felkin doesn't give you the Sunset Staff after exhausting his dialogue *unless* you have 20 Int/20 Faith.

You can get past the 4 Executioners by aggroing them and running like hell back to the ladder next to the second Bonfire. You have to be careful cause they might path down some ledges to get to you more quickly, but if you make it up the ladder and wait a bit, they'll path across the tree shortcut trying to get to you. I didn't stick around to see if they'd actually make it to you, but I have free rein to cross the bridge after taking out the one Executioner that stays behind.

Even with all the hate this are can give, is the most "Dark Souls" style map of ds2 literally it have it all, sad hollows doing nothing, dark atmosphere, fat abominations, followers of the old darkwraith covenant, an assasin imprisoned, necromancers, skeletons, skeleton wheels, butterflies, soul spear, thief hollows, ricard's rapier, a basilisk, hollows with torches, dogs and dark bead.

Are there more NPC invaders than the 2 listed here? I was invaded right after the second bonfire but I wasn't human, so I assumed it was an NPC. I don't recall their name but they had the moon butterfly set, poison throwing knives, and poison on their weapon. It seemed pretty appropriate for the area but it acted like a player (played passively and aggressive after the poison proc). Unless ring of binding allows invasions while hollow I assume it was a NPC but I can't find it anywhere.

What's with the huge pit in the middle of the room, of the building right before the second bonfire? I can see a soul down there glowing. But I tried jumping down and I just died {even with the cat ring).

use a greatshield for the exicutioners and take them one by one, takes a bit longer but you can make it to the boss door without getting hit

That phantom at the fog gate still gives me nightmares. I've literally never been able to kill him.

"This guy makes Havel look easy" Lol. Sorry, they are both easy. Havel, if you refer to DS1's Havel, you just kill him as he gets stuck in the doorway. This guy, his greatsword just staggers off whenever he hits your greatshield. Then shoot him in the face with Heavy Soul Arrow or your preferred melee.

Creighton cannot be summoned in DS2, only in the SotFS version. Please note that.

The first text says: "You need a minimum of 8 Intelligence and 8 Faith to access him" (Felkin the Outcast). The site Felkin the Outcast says: "Requires 10 Faith and Intelligence to use as a trainer". Something seems odd.

dx11 walkthrough is the sinner's rise walkthrough, not the huntsman's copse one

Someone needs to fix the fact that the SofFS version is just a repeat of Sinners Rise. :/
Someone needs to fix the SotFS walkthrough of Huntsman Corpse. All that was added was Dark Invader Forlorn!!

After defeating Merciless Roenna and obtaining the Undead Lockaway Key, there is a Butterfly enemy in a tree above where the key is found. Killing that butterfly drops an item on a ledge below the cliff you are standing on. Carefully drop down to that ledge to discover a Flamberge along with the Moss the Butterfly dropped.

The invader didn't drop a great sword when I killed him. I tried the bonfire reset but that didn't work. Any help?
I've found that when the Undead Purgatory bonfire is ascetic'd (for the Chariot fight) the tower knight that respawns cannot be seen by summons. The knight aggros on summons, but causes no damage. Summons can't see him, nor deal any damage. Confirmed multiple times in my world with friends, and once in another player's world.
