Skeleton is an enemy in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Hiding in Cale's house in Majula, this Skeleton wields a curved sword. Reanimated corpses like these are typically under the control of a Necromancer. They pose a persistent threat as they revive repeatedly until their controlling wizard is defeated. Enemies have their own behavior and unique attacks, killing enemies provide various drops that reward players with items and souls.

DKS2 Skeleton Strategy Tips
- Melee
- Fairly straightforward melee fight. You may want to prepare for the bleed damage, choosing special armor/shield. Keep your distance, keep your shield up, strafe watch out for bleed buildup.

- Cast Yearn to lure them aside and eliminate them afar.

Dark Souls 2 Skeleton Notes and Tips
- They can first be encountered in the basement of the Majula Mansion. They are reanimated remains of humanoids, and manifestations of necromancy. In most cases, if a skeleton is nearby, so is a Hollow Mage (Black). This is not true for the Majula and Harvest Valley skeleton. Those that are slain can be revived repeatedly by a nearby Hollow Mage (Black), until the Hollow Mage is killed. Skeletons are relatively weak, both in damage and HP, but move and attack swiftly. They also have the ability to parry, if carrying a shield. They are extremely resilient to thrust (i.e. spear) based attacks, somewhat resistant to slash (i.e. sword) based attacks, and weak against strike (i.e. mace) based attacks. Oddly, skeletons are vulnerable to Yearn and Alluring Skull, as they're mindless, in short, Force can dispatch them by pushing them to bottomless pit.

"We're out of design ideas boss"...."just sprinkle in some skeletons".
Lamest enemies in the history of gaming and when dev's use them I view it as a sign of laziness, more so than rats, large or small.(except for in A Plague Tale: innocence, they did rats right)

So if I burn a Bonfire Ascetic in Majula, the Skeleton will respawn indefinitely or just once in the basement?
These guys are a joke compared to the first game.
