The precise origins of the Magic Academy are hazy, for over its long history, its faculty has been dissolved and reestablished at least a dozen times." Though unknown for certain, some say the founders of the academy were sinful men who came from across the northern seas. The sorceries they left behind were fragmentary, and barely legible, leading to the loss of much of their wisdom.

Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring is a Ring in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Players can equip up to 4 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible. Some rings have upgraded versions, having a maximum of +3. Some can only be found in NG+. Rings can be repaired at a blacksmith, but not upgraded. Upgraded versions must be acquired throughout the game from corpses, chests, bosses, etc.

  • Gives you the same spell effect as 'Hush'; enemies won't react to your presence unless you enter their line of sight no matter how heavy the armor is, making it ideal for backstabbing in both PvE and PvP.
  • Contrary to popular belief, this ring DOES NOT stop an invasion notice from appearing when invading a player's world with this ring on.
