Giant Warrior Information in Dark Souls 2
Giant Warrior is the generic name for all of the giants in Memories of the Ancients. There are many variants which you can find on the Giant Warrior page.
All are hard hitting, tough giants that will kill unwary players very quickly. There are three versions/variants: the standard giant; the sorcerer/caster giant which uses magic (poison or fire) along with its bare hands to attack and wears dark rugs on his torso; and, a much larger (massive) giant that has a single club and can easily one-shot you.

No wonder the Giants laid waste to Drangleic, The bastards have the unbeatable power of jank as hell hitboxes on their side!

Oddly enough, the regular giants are backstabbable, never would've thought they would since they're bigger than Ogres, who can't be backstabbed

Stop ****ing one hitting me with your 5 mile long lasting hitbox when im just passing you you piece of **** club giant

Useful info: remember in ds1 the plunging attack we did to the asylum demon and that critical attack animation from above? It works just as well with these guys. A little situational, but it helps.

The club giant is what we call "stupid game design". If you get hit with the smash, you die instantly. If you get hit with the swing, you get staggered until you die from the next hit instantly. Even this is ok if it was a single enemy, but they are ALWAYS found with 2-3 other giants and in small cramped corridors. Good job FromSoft.

They forgot to put Awestone on the drops, only works if you're in the covenant of the company of champions

From what I've found they're weak to fire but the fire mages are weak to lightning.
