Rupturing Hollow (Undead Citizen) is an enemy in Dark Souls 2.
Rupturing Hollow (Undead Citizen) Information
"Mummified hollows which, when they detect a player, charge them at high speed. You can detect them early by the rattling of their chains. Often occur in groups. Their speed and aggression is intimidating and can force the player into a defensive, pressed battle. All Undead Citizens have a devastating "belly flop attack" -- see Rupturing Hollow page for details and variants."

- Alluring Skull
- NG: 260 Souls,NG+ 520 Souls, NG+7: 1,040 Souls.
Strategy Tips
- Pulling one or two at a time with ranged attacks is often possible. Attack from a distance or as they charge. If they get close enough, the Undead Citizens will often belly flop; all of the flops deal high damage (along with any relevant status effect) and will knock players off their feet. The flop also deals heavy stamina damage if blocked, rendering most low-stability shields ineffective. So, block if have to, but dodging is ideal. They are not particularly durable and may be quickly vanquished by most weaponry. Using ranged weapons is incredibly effective in picking them off one at a time. Using an alluring skull may draw a group to a singular spot allowing players to quickly dispatch them with wide-angled or AoE attacks. Note that they will leap/flop on the alluring skull, so take caution if approaching
Move Set
- One or Two Arm Swings: The enemy will swing at the player when in close range, can be up to a 2 swing combo.
- Physical Damage
- Can be blocked
- Belly Flop : Massive AoE slam .
- Physical Damage
- Can be blocked
Notes
- One particular encounter with this enemy occurs immediately after the Ruin Sentinel boss fight. In a thin hallway lined with cells which is used to exit the the boss arena, one of these creatures is located in the far left cell. Albeit risky, it is possible to sprint through. It is also possible to bait it into combusting by moving close to the cell and rolling backwards. An AoE attack may also be used to eliminate it.

Love getting stunlocked by 3 until they break literally every single piece of equipment I have <3 and then I still decide to fight the drake right there with broken armor and easily kill him without even taking a hit ... perfectly balanced

My brother in Christ, why can't they just be suicide-bombers who die after they explode? That stupid bellyflop into atomic fart attack makes these things one of the most obnoxious enemies in any Soulsborne game.

Whoever on B-Team designed these bastards needs to be fired and blacklisted. Like, seriously. Go away, forever. Lose your job, beg for money on the streets or something.

The ones in dragon aerie are harmless if you remove your armor and rings, thy only deal acid damage, their threat comes from running into and breaking eggs from out of sight or knocking you off cliffs, ambushing you on cliffs, ambushing you by dragons, ambushing you when invaded. just ambushes in general,
reccomend using a weapon that attacks fast or several times like a dagger or twinblade, they have low hp but you can miss if you swing early.
Take your time.

They should've added a grab attack, where they will hug you, then rub their body on you, eventually they explode point-blank. They came!
Doesn't mention that they're also in Dragon Aerie on Locations
